REAL ESTATE BROKER

The Real Estate Broker License is the highest form of licensing a real estate agent can obtain. Brokers are subject to more rigorous course material and testing, must meet all requirements of the Salesperson’s license, and must have either two years of full time real estate experience, or hold a 4-year degree. They must also have completed a more extensive curriculum on real estate related courses, such as Real Estate Practice, Law, Finance, Appraisal, Economics, Accounting, Property Management, Mortgage Brokering or Lending, Escrow, Office Administration, and Computer Applications. License # 01152826.

REALTOR ®

All real estate licensees are not the same. Only real estate licensees who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS are called REALTORS®. REALTORS® are committed to treating all parties to a transaction with honesty, and providing a fiduciary duty of trust and exclusive representation for all clients. REALTORS® subscribe to a strict code of ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge and professionalism.

CRS® – Certified Residential Specialist

The CRS® Designation, awarded by the Council of Residential Specialists is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field. Less than 4% of all REALTORS® nationwide hold the CRS® Designation. CRS® designees possess a high level of professional experience and sales, the highest standard of professional ethics, specific experience in managing residential transactions, and strong technical abilities to meet the demands of today’s market.

GRI – Graduate, REALTOR® Institute

The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional that has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service by securing a strong educational foundation. REALTORS® with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better represent, protect, and negotiate on behalf of their clients. The GRI designation is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of courses that total a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction. Subjects covered include the Sales Process (business development, sales and marketing, customer & client services, and cultural diversity) Legal and Regulatory (risk management and contract law) Technology (communications and real estate business technology), and Professional Standards (NAR code of ethics, standards of practice and arbitration/mediation).

ABR® - Accredited Buyer Representative

The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

SFR - Certified Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource

Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification, or SFR for short, provides a framework for understanding how to direct distressed sellers to finance, tax, and legal professionals, qualify sellers for short sales, develop a short-sale package, negotiate with lenders, tap into buyer demand, limit risk, and protect buyers. It is the only distressed property certification for real estate professionals recognized and endorsed by the National Association of Realtors.

Certified HAFA Specialist

Presented by Asset Plan USA, in association of California Association of Realtors, the training provides understanding of the current U.S. distressed housing market and get an in depth review of Treasury’s Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program (per Treasury Supplemental Directive 09-09 Revised). Completion of this course facilitates working knowledge of the ins and outs of a HAFA transaction, including details on the HAFA process, timelines and documents.

CNE® - Certified Negotiation Expert

An agent who carries the CNE® designation has been trained in professional negotiation skills by Negotiation Expertise, LLC, the leading negotiation training and coaching company for real estate professionals in North America. A CNE® professional knows how to use the leading edge negotiation practices and techniques for your benefit. The training provided basic and advanced negotiation approaches that can be applied to the vast majority of real estate negotiation situations. You can be confident that being your CNE® professional, I will achieve the very best results for you!
